The Interface Manager for SAP R/3 Systems (IMS/3) provides a central point of entry for managing and administrating the SAP inbound and outbound interfaces implemented at customer location.

The Interface Manager allows to control customer interfaces which have been defined in the Interface Manager owns Customizing Transaction

Administrator Functions

Batch and/or real time

Logical filename for output file and input file with parameter substitution

Logical filename of the input file

Error log filename

Activate or inactive interface jobs

Job log display for batch jobs

Responsible person of the interface for automatic problem notification

Inbound or outbound interface definition

Schedule new Interfaces as Background or Real Time Jobs

Maintain Interface Components: User Exits, Function Modules and ABAP programs used.
